Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. As a child, she was exposed to a lot of classical music and older boleros. In addition, she was a fan of traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. After singing with her mom, she started more serious training in singing at 16 under the guidance of renown Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. She continued her musical training at the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. As a student and as a young professional at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she sang with several chamber groups and choruses. When she moved in California in United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her home in the southern part of California. She is currently performing classic Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. She is passionate about performing, music, and the arts keep active in community projects in both her capacity as an artist and educator. Ana is also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana hopes, with her performance songs from Latin American traditional songs, that she can inspire a love, especially for the young generation, for keeping this music vibrant.
