Rosalia

Rosalia Vila is also referred to as Rosalia Rosaly, is a Spanish Flamenco music singer. Involved in the margins of popular and traditional music since her teens she is also involved in other genres such as the hip hop soul genre and trap. Her voice has been called by no less of an artist than the Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet however with a bit of bite similar to those of the past. El Mal Querer, her second album following Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial success. The album topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and received a Grammy. The single La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. It was released in 2022, as a result of a Saturday Night Live appearance by the singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish singer to perform solo on the show. Along with taking home three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
