Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actress. He started his acting career by playing performances in television shows such as in Opposite Sex in the year 2000. Evans was a household name because of his performance as his character, the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans is also seen in films that are based off comics such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). Alongside his character as Captain America/Steve Rogers Evans earned him recognition for his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) as well as Captain America: Civil War. Within the Marvel universe, his role as Captain Steve Rogers and Captain America earned him the title of top-paid actor in the world.
